Feb - May:

1. Write, Revise, and Finalize Personal Statement

May :

1. Fill out AMCAS application

2. Go through the AMCAS application multiple times to check for spelling errors

June :

1. Submit AMCAS application

July - September :

1. Fill out secondary applications

September to January (next year) :

1. Interview at schools

March to April :

1. Revisit schools that you were accepted to.

April to June :

1. Relax before you start medical school

June to July :

1. Start medical school!

How long does it take to become a practicing physician?

How long do you have to be in school to become a physician?

4 Years for Bachelor's Degree
4 Years Medical School
3-5 Years for Residency
1-2 Year for Fellowship (advance training, optional)

So it will take a minimum of 11 years after you graduate from high school to be a fully licensed and practicing physician.
